T. Binge would like to thank everyone who came out to a packed McGee's Taven last night!!! For those who missed it, i'll summarize.. From song one the room was ready to party, a few broken bottles and 'socials' and before i knew it we were taking a break. Back out for set two (nasty Eruption tease) and the crowd was louder and dancier the more we rolled on, cue wiz's set (climax) and they were eating out of our hands. Dan literally took a break during Journey and let the crowd belt it out, and they basically song the entire song! New rockers Poker and Betterman left them hanging for more, and two encores later we had to stop. Needless to say it was a GREAT night and we couldn't have had more fun, we always love playing McGee's, and we always rock the heads off the smart DePaul U. kids!! Thanks to our crew who make the trek, especially through construction and traffic, mainly 'iced tea' mike (who likes to pick up the band's tab, thanks!) and KT and the DTCs who like to TB, and Gail Weatherstorm and Linds a.k.a. "captian obvious". Anyone else i forgot, I'm sorry but thanks for coming out, dont miss us and the goose dropping! Took the novia up north to the fabulous SummerFest to catch my first Rush show. I've been a fan of the band for quite some time, just never had a chance to see 'em live. Let me tell you, they're probably one of the last great rock bands left of this earth, for those of you who haven't heard of Rush, I highly suggest you crawl out from under that rock you've been under and download 'Tom Sawyer', probably the greatest anthem ever written. Anyway we're gearin' up for the 3rd @ mickey Finn's should be a good time, as always. Come check out openers EnKase @ 930 these guys do a great Sir Mix-a-Lot. until then here's pic for ya...it's what happens when you f*ck with your neighbors and they all have late night band practice :-)
T. Binge is back in the swing, we're practicing hard for our upcoming summer shows, trying to add fresh material and always keep the old stuff tight. Last night we had one of our dreaded 'song' meetings and it went rather well, surprisingly, and we also are in the talks with AngryMan Productions to slide into a recording studio to make some demos for our fans! ( the ones on the website are from '05, soooo long ago!) Other than that we worked arduously on the 'Mecca' of O.A.R. songs (i said johnny what'cha doin' tonight?), and tried pulling some OPS (old people songs) out of the bag for our BBQ show on the 5th. Now I'm gonna load some pics from June 6 up, so check 'em out! No much from the other three, pretty sure there all still asleep! Stay clean!

Last night was a blast up at the ole Amber Room! Thanks to everybody for coming out, definately our best show to date! Thanks to EnKase for warming everybody up, you guys were great! Thanks to my man Brad Dausman, who came through with an extra bass guitar, whatta guy, hope you enjoyed my gift! Thanks to Brian Grano for putting up with us and letting us rock the house! Thanks to Marthy from Betty Soul for occupying front row seats all night long, hope you enjoyed yourself!! Happy birthday to my beautiful lady, Katie, good job dancin' baby!! We'll see everybody back at Finn's July 3rd (it's the thursday before 4th of July weekend) for another rockin' good time with your favorite local boys, until then everybody keep your noses clean and keep checkin' the website and myspace for updates! out

So, while Kevin has been busy calling every other day to remind us that, yes, he is in Maui and we are not, I've been busy making sure the show this Friday is a rocker. With that in mind, I just added our good buddies EnKase to the bill. They will be starting off the night with some cool acoustic tunes (any band that can pull off Rhiannon and The Killers in the same set is cool by me) at 9:30, we'll hit the satge a little later and give you our "Greatest hits" set, so bring your dancin' shoes... Get there early, and plan on stayin' late. Oh, and pack your drinkin' shoes too. I have a feeling y'all might need 'em...

For those of you who don't know, Kevin's in Maui soakin' up the rays and hopefully learning to surf. He took an extended vacation with a few friends for some major R&R and when he comes back, he'll be dying to tickle the skins. Metaphorically. Anyway we have a show 3 days after he gets back, so he'd better be ready! Meanwhile the three of us have been working on T.Binge Unplugged, a summertime project which may open some more doors for us. that's all for now, I hope everyone has marked their calendars for June 6 'cuz it's gonna be rager, the first big show of summer! T. Binge would like to throw a shout out to Ms. Durkin and Ms. Altergott who finished up their masters program this weekend, way to go guys! Also double congrats to Ms. Altergott who's gettng married this July! Anyway- Now its only one month left of school then it's a summer time, yeah! t.Binge is proud of you!
i'm outtie this weekend to Minneapolis/St.Paul for an engagement party and coach is heading to another wedding here in town. I personally am attending 4 weddings this year and short of doing the chicken dance a number of times, i'm less than excited, although one is in veags and i havent been since i was 16 and was only able to pump my money into the Excalibur basement arcade, this time im planning on losing at least a few months' salary at my third greatest vice, craps, but i digress. Bairdo is planning a trip to Maui, let's hope he comes back with a hot tan and some shells for my salt water tank. Jonny Jonny Wiz is currently investigating investing in Affliction T-shirts stocks and bonds. Other than that we're gearin' up for McGee's, should be a great show, we're bringing a plethora of new songs for ya'll to dance to and munch on, so don't miss it!! Graeme
Bairdo and I shot up north this weekend, for a little r&r and more importantly snowmobiling. We drove way up, to St. Germain WI to be exact, and rented some beasts that tamed 150 miles on the trails which, up there out number the paved roads. A rip roarin' good time with the boys, you know the usual drinking beer, makin waffles, playboy mags, a 20 oz. prime rib, and oh ya, kevin fell in love with a stripper who dances to Pantera, big surpirse! Wiz and Dan had to stay in town 'cuz their gearing up for an acoustic show tomorrow at Finn's (which I'll probably make a celebrity appearance) and it's also Bairdo's birthday so you know he'll be in a good mood! That's it for now, we're still talking dates but it looks like Finn's in late Feb, McGee's in mid-march, and Duffy's (new spot) in April. I'll have the dates posted when they're locked in. winter weather is definately here, nice how old man winter snuck up on us like that, i guess now is the time to feel guilty that i havent bought any christmas presents, yet. T. Binge is warmin' up like cocoa by the fire for our post-christmas show, we got some surpirses for ya, including one huge one that'll blow your minds! Updates: Coach is busy tappin' away on his i-mac trying to summarize Reganomics, Bairdo is STILL trying to get his room in order, Wizzy is has been busy makin' seasoned pork chops with mango salsa on a bed of rice, and me, i'm makin' my way through season 4 of cheers, good shit. For those of you who didnt know, kevy's been on a cruise to Cabo San Lucas, he'll be back tomorrow. I've been workin his shifts, thanks for the loot bud! Hopefully he'll be in the mood to practice after his long flight, 'cuz we got a lot of work to do, currently adding a plethora of new tunes to please our fans! Wizzy turned another year older yesterday, the legend goes on, happy b-day bud, any many more with T.Binge! As for Dan, he's preparing to leave town too, i forgot where to, but not before he moves into to the new casa-del-binge, on Crossland Drive.
